Discover the Exceptional Work & Life of Anne Morgan

Alan Govenar, an award-winning writer and filmmaker, will present his recently-published book, coauthored by Mary Maack, on the humanitarian Anne Morgan, on October 31, 2016 at the Colony Club.

Anne Morgan: Photography, Philanthropy & Advocacy includes a fascinating biographical essay on Anne Morgan; rare historic photos that depict her war relief efforts in France; and her pioneering use of
photography to compel Americans to aid devastated France in the wake of World War I. Govenar has produced more than forty short videos for the Franco-American Museum, and will share insights on this larger-than-life American woman, a daughter of financier J.P. Morgan.

Anne Morgan was also a co-founder of the Colony Club.

The book, was published by American Friends of Blérancourt and sells for $24.95. You won’t want to miss this special book talk.

The book signing (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm) is followed by a luncheon at the Colony Club (1:00 pm - 2:00 pm).
